This Event has been POSTPONED as we are currently activley working within our community after the effects of Hurricane Irma. Thousands continue to be without power, many areas are flooded and without running water. In a world faced with natural and social calamities there is an overwhelming need for response. Are you ready to respond? If so, now is your chance.  About The Lion’s Den Rapid Response Team  The Lion's Den Missions Base Rapid Response Team (RRT) was deployed to support communities and local/federal emergency response agencies in the midst of crisis and disaster.   In partnership with the United Nations Chaplains & Pastors Association, The Lion’s Den Missions Base RRT is focused on responding to events within the continental U.S. and Caribbean. Our highly-trained members are carefully selected and trained to demonstrate the compassion of Christ, while providing tangible solutions to disaster stricken areas and communities. These individuals are equipped to further support in these efforts by responding to natural disasters, supporting community & economic redevelopment, and responding to social instability. Responding to Natural Disasters  The RRT is equipped to support restorative efforts, provide necessary resources (food, water, shelter and clothing), and provide crisis counseling and spiritual care support.
Supporting Community & Economic Redevelopment  The RRT works with local and federal leaders to establish and deploy long-term strategies to rebuild.  Responding to Social Instability The RRT supports communities by acting as a social bridge between citizens and government agencies during periods of social unrest.  The Lion's Den Rapid Response Team strives to deploy into a community within 24 hours to investigate damages while sending team members within 48 hours to support preliminary efforts. Through training, RRT members are equipped to treat the primary life-threatening injuries that occur in crisis by opening airways, controlling bleeding, and providing treatment for shock. Team members are also able to provide basic medical aid, search for and safely rescue victims, and organize agencies along with spontaneous volunteers for effective intervention. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?  Members must be at least 18 years of age   Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?  You may email with questions
